HOW IT WORKS
The Taurus HD3 Auto Sorting Cattle Crush uses compressed air to open and close the entry and various exit gates.
To begin the process, the split race gate is opened via the remote control and the first animal enters.
The entry gate on the Taurus will open, letting the animal enter. Once inside, there are two sensors that let the crush know to close the entry gate, and another to begin the weigh cycle.
Now the weight is taken, EID tag read and recorded to the scale along with any treatments given. The weigh scale then talks back to the crush to adjust the sort gates.
The sort gates automatically adjust and the headbail open, the animal can exit. An in-crush sensor will trigger once the animal has exited the crush, closing the headbail. A second sensor in the sort gate module will close the sort gate again once being cleared, avoiding congestion in the sort module. Once all sensors are cleared, the crush entry will re-open to begin the cycle again.
