On-Farm Connectivity Program Applications Closed
Round 2 of the Australian Government’s On Farm Connectivity Program (OFCP) was recently released to help farmers improve on-farm connectivity and access technology-driven products to improve productivity, performance and profit on farms.
There has been significant interest in this program, with applications already received well in excess of the funding available for this round so unfortunately applications have now closed.
On-Farm Connectivity Program Information
Farmers can access up to a $30,000 rebate for Connectivity and Agritech Equipment from the Australian Government’s $18 million OFCP Round 2 grant. This fund is available to assist Primary Producers to invest in digitally connected machinery and technology solutions that boost productivity and improve safety in farming operations.

Application Criteria
It's easy to apply for the On-Farm Connectivity Rebate you just need your name, address, ABN number and a quote for the equipment you plan to purchase. You're eligible if you meet the following criteria:
- You must have an ABN number that has been registered for more than 12 months
- Your average revenue (sales) from primary production over the last 3 years must be between $40,000 and $4 million.
- You must confirm you are not a hobby farmer and that you have an eligible ANZSIC code.
Rebate Process
- Contact Te Pari to get started.
- Select an eligible Connected Livestock Handling Solution.
- Then Te Pari will submit the application for approval with your details using the online portal. You will be asked to check the application.
- The application is then approved by the Government Grants Team (allow 2-4 weeks). The application approval will state the rebate amount.
- Te Pari will then process your Equipment Solution order for delivery within 120 days.
- You pay Te Pari the order balance amount (after rebate is deducted).
- Te Pari will deliver the equipment solution and take a geo-tagged photo of the equipment onsite.
- Te Pari will submit Proof of Payment from customer, geo-tagged photo, invoice and quote and then be paid the rebate amount. This must happen within 120 days of approval.
- Completed grants will be listed in 21 days on the GrantConnect website with non-sensitive details.
- In the following 24 months you may be contacted by the Department for a survey, case study or compliance visit
