Cattle Yard

The SY450 has curved 9 working pens designed to maximise flow and provide plenty of drafting options. The larger pens are designed to hold approx 50 head of cattle.

The curved S-Race encourages consistent cattle flow and the C-Force Rotating Gate includes an anti-backing latch that locks into place every 0.5m, preventing cattle from pushing the gate back onto the operator.

The SY450 yard plan has a cattle-free working area which provides a safe and secure area to work and store supplies. Personnel gates at both ends of the area provide easy access.

The curved race with 1.0m wide catwalk makes inspecting cattle safer and easier. The catwalk is wide enough so that operators can easily pass each other without stepping down. Available in timber or FRP mesh options.

The SY450 yard plan features a 3-way drafting module that is easy to operate via wire rope controls positioned at the rear of the crush. This allows one operator to draft cattle safely and easily. 

Positioned off the curved race the load-out race is accessed by an easy-to-use diverter gate. Our yard plans come with either a stepped loading ramp or a load out module depending on what best suits your site.

Access gates throughout the cattle yard allow handlers to move around quickly and safely. These gates are placed strategically and come with anti-rattle slam latches, making them quick to open/close and quiet.

Our anti-rattle slam latches have noise-reducing nylon bush inserts, easy-to-use handles, and a compact strike plate. The reduced noise helps keep the animals calm, and the compact design reduces the risk of injury.
